Hello everybody and welcome to Seemingly Crafty, a DIY blog dedicated to creating pretty little (not always perfect) things that make life a bit more charming.
I see this blog as my 'DIY diary', a place where I can share my inspirations and projects, and connect with other DIY lovers out there – because, let's be honest, it's much more fun when you can share a project you are so proud of with someone. :)
So... If you are passionate about DIY, believe that all the most valuable things in life are handcrafted (or as I like to say HEARTmade), or you are just looking for some inspiration, please stay a while and look around. Feel free to comment, I'd love to hear your opinion, ideas and tips :)

A few things about me:
- my name is Matea and I'm a 20-something gal from Zagreb, Croatia
- I have a Master's degree in Psychology and passion for science...I would like to pursue a research/science career
- if I could describe myself in 3 words, I'd say: dreamer, stubborn and crazy...I'm aware it sounds a bit weird ;)
- I've been making things for as long as I remember, and somehow crafting became a passion / obsession - I' m browsing Craftgawker AT LEAST once a day
- I can't imagine a day without the music...literally! (you can expect some 'music related' crafts on this blog...consider yourself warned)
- I'm 'young at heart' and love everything kids love
- I'm addicted to chocolate
- I'm probably the only person that doesn't like summer... yep, I said it! My favorite season is autumn, September being my favorite month
- I'm a 'mom' of a 4 year old puppy. She is a half-breed of Marley (from „Marley & me“) and Sammy Davis Jr. Jr. (from „Everything is illuminated“)... and yes, "she is deranged, but so so playful"...and a huge cuddle monster :)
